If you want luxury in Las Vegas, you have a number of options, but the one that more people go back to is the Bellagio. With Italian elegance and appeal, this modern casino and resort has been compared to similar buildings in Europe because of the attention to detail and the opulent offerings. From the time you walk into the lobby, you will see a magnificent fountain that’s bursting with Italian frescoes and designs. Look up to see the blown glass flower sculpture that’s a little more tacky than tasteful, but it does have the distinction of being the biggest of its type.
Navigating this enormous casino and resort is made simple at Bellagio with different colors and patterns of carpet ñ the black flowered carpets will lead you around the casino. The hotel rooms are large and you can find luxury items like soaps and lotions waiting for you when you arrive. When reserving a room, you might want to keep in mind that the Bellagio light show occurs seemingly every few minutes after dark ñ and this can get pretty loud if your room is on the strip side. Then again, you will have a bird’s eye view of this tourist drawing and exciting free show. The fountains in the front of the Bellagio dance in time to modern music as well as the crooning of Frank Sinatra, much to the delight of everyone.
Within the Bellagio are high class restaurants like Le Cirque, Jean-Phillipe Patisserie, Sensi, Fix, Michael Mina, Olives, and Picasso. Expect to have to make a reservation at any of these locations, while the Bellagio Buffet is perfect for those with simpler tastes and a smaller budget.
When you head out at night, there are a number of clubs and showrooms to enjoy at the Bellagio ñ O with Cirque de Soleil, Petrossian Bar, and The Bank. Or you could always shop at the high end shops at Via Bellagio with Armani, Gucci, Hermes, Prada, Tiffany, etc.
