Hooters Las Vegas
Sure, Hooters is known for being ‘delightfully tacky,’ but can it even rise about the overt tackiness that pervades Las Vegas? Yes and no. This fairly new hotel and casino was drawing large crowds when it first began, but now seems to be settling into a bit of a slump. People aren’t as interested in the tackiness and the orange and white uniforms of the large breasted waitresses when they’re bringing their family or their friends ñ especially when so many other strip hotels and casinos are offering adult fare too.
Still, the rooms at Hooters are comfortable and the tropical theme is certainly appropriate for the desert setting of Vegas. If you’re looking for a kitschy theme, this is certainly the place to go. Get your picture taken with one of the lovely staff members or simply sit and enjoy the view ñ if that’s your kind of vacation.
Gambling at Hooters is similar to gambling at other casinos, but the overall rules at the tables are a bit different, so make sure you find out what you’re getting into before plunking your money down. While some might say that they’re a little too stringent, others would say that they are downright silly. Perhaps they think the female dealers will help distract you?
Shopping at Hooters means coming home with Hooters emblazoned t-shirts and ashtrays, which is fine if you’re in a frat, but when you’re going for a Vegas vacation, this might not be your first place to gather up souvenirs or anything for yourself.
When you’re looking for something to do at night, you can see various entertainers at Hooters: Bobby Slayton and The Mentalist are recent acts. While these acts might seem more subdued than the dealers and the surroundings, this is still far from a family establishment.
Rooms start at $69 per night for a single, more for each additional guest.
