Marriot has always been a name that’s been linked to high end accommodations ñ and Vegas is no exception. By offering you a simple Spanish motif and style, you can forget the craziness of your life and focus on your vacation. Situated off the strip, but certainly worth the drive, JW Marriot Las Vegas offers you a variety of different trips to take ñ golfing and hiking are the most popular. With two high class golf courses close by, you can spend your days on the links before heading into the strip for a different sort of game of luck (and skill, of course).
The rooms at the JW Marriot are some of the biggest in Vegas, but they certainly come with the larger price tag too. The marble bathrooms and whirlpool tubs make it difficult to leave your room, though you might want to dry off just long enough to head to the Aquae Sulis Spa ñ with over 40,000 square feet of pampering space. This spa is one of the largest in town and if you want to be rejuvenated from head to toe, it’s worth being adjacent to it for whenever the mood strikes.
You might also want to take a dip at the hotel pool if you’re still not cooled off enough. The gambling area is small and cool too, but it’s favored more by the locals than by tourists ñ a plus if you don’t want to wrangle with the crowds, but a minus when you want to see some high stakes action and excitement of people from other parts of the world.
Red Rock Canyon is also quite close, so if you want to take a trip there, the JW Marriot is a good place to start. What you will also want to keep in mind is that while this hotel and casino is close to the strip, the traffic of the area might make it difficult to actually get to the strip itself in less than an hour.
Room rates are expensive, so make sure you’re going during off peak times to get the best deals.
