Palms
While it might be off in the distance, the Palms Casino Resort is certainly getting attention from celebrities and Vegas vacationers alike. It’s one of the newer resorts in the area, so the attitude is new and modern, with a Miami type dÈcor and attitude. From the outside, the Palms Casino Resort doesn’t look like much, but that’s all the more reason to head in the front doors.
The rooms at the Palms are some of the most comfortable around, with fluffy beds and large bathrooms for changing into your nightlife best. What you need to keep in mind, however, is that while the rooms are luxury, they do come at a price ñ and not just on your credit card. Since this is a celebrity haunt, you might have some troubles getting into and out of your room at night. The doors to the hot clubs are right next to the elevator doors, after all.
While the casino offers pretty standard far at the Palms, it’s certainly not advertised as the most enticing feature of the hotel itself. Yes, it’s the clubs that reign supreme here, though you might have troubles getting in unless you’re staying at the hotel itself. From ghostbar to the Playboy Club, and rain and Moon, you’re going to encounter long lines to get in, but once in, you’ll see why the wait was worth it. The hot dÈcor and the hot bodies that frequent these establishments are enough to make anyone feel like a celebrity themselves.
Amazingly enough, there are accommodations for guests with children ñ a full service child care area (Kid’s Quest) as well as a number of entertainment options for those who aren’t venturing out for a night of clubbing ñ McDonald’s, movie theaters, and other family food choices. Or you could head to Alize, a hot restaurant that could win awards for its quality, its ambiance, and its style.
Rooms at the Palms start at $99.
