Formally known as the Aladdin in Las Vegas, this resort and casino used to be known for the marriage between Elvis and Priscilla. And while that building is long gone, the building that stands in its place is still drawing the attention of Vegas goers. Now known more for its celebrity affiliations and its bright LED screens as you walk in, Planet Hollywood is a visually striking casino as it offers differently themed rooms for you to enjoy.
Each hotel room has fun memorabilia from different Hollywood sets (think Pulp Fiction) and while some of the rooms overlap a bit, each room has different items to look at, so you can become lost in the memories of your favorite movies right in the comfort of your bedroom. Or you could head to the Mandera spa for a relaxing afternoon of pampering.
There are a number of modern shows at the Planet Hollywood showroom area, so make sure to check out their schedule before you arrive to guarantee tickets for you and for your friends or family. While this isn’t necessarily a children-themed resort, there are a number of fun sights for even children to enjoy and to explore.
For those who are interested in shopping away their days after winning big at the slots, Planet Hollywood offers you the Miracle Mile shopping area. This area is shaped in a horseshoe and for a new shopping center; it can certainly hold its own in comparison to the high end shops at Caesar’s Palace and the Venetian. With 19 restaurants and 7 bars and lounges, Planet Hollywood is a place where you can feel like a star without the glare of the paparazzi.
Rates for rooms start at $99, but there are approximately 2600 rooms available for reservation. Additional guests will add $30 each to the nightly rate.
