La Reve
Based on a painting that Steve Wynn owns, La Reve is certainly a part of the Vegas flavor and scene. The overdone pageantry is certainly going to be compared to the flamboyance of Cirque du Soleil, but this water based show is not nearly as impressive. While you’ll still get the lithe and mysterious performers, the introduction of the water (and thus, wet first few rows) seems to be blatantly stealing from the production of O. Nonetheless, the entertainment value of La Reve seems well worth the price of admission as you watch the inner thoughts (it seems) of a distraught lover.
The show runs Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 7:00pm and 9:30pm, Fridays at 8:30m, and Saturdays at 8:00pm and 10:30pm, all at the Wynn Las Vegas, naturally. Tickets start at $99.
