O, Theater
Consistently ranked one of the best shows on the Vegas strip, the Cirque du Soleil’s ‘O’ is an amazing spectacle for the senses. Named for the French word for water (‘eau’), this stage show is performed at the Bellagio over a 1.5 million gallon pool of water. The acrobatics that go into this show are thrilling and they can enchant the entire family with the athleticism of these performers. The overall theme of this show seems to be a sort of dream-like setting, and you feel as though you’ve entered another world within the first few minutes. From the music to the lighting to the movement, each second is choreographed to perfection.
At the current time, the show is performed on Wednesdays and Sundays at 7:30pm and 10:30pm, with tickets ranging from $99 and up. What you will also want to keep in mind is that you can not wear tank tops, tennis shoes, or sandals when you attend these showing. A more refined audience is expected and appreciated by the performers.
While this is a pricey excursion, it’s well worth the trip and people who have attended previous Cirque du Soleil shows seem to favor this one above the rest.
